Avesh Padayachee is the founder and CEO of Fibon Energy, based out of Johannesburg, South Africa. Avesh’s firm focuses primarily on rooftop solar for both state and private markets in South Africa. Prior to founding Fibon Energy over five years ago, Avesh worked in venture capital at the Walter H. Coulter Foundation. Avesh also previously worked for Webber Wentzel as an attorney for over four years, focused on executing mergers and acquisitions. While an attorney, Avesh’s work in mergers and acquisitions spanned across companies in the United States, United Kingdom, India and South Africa. Avesh is also one out of 35 people in 2017 elected to the future energy leaders program of the World Energy Council. Avesh holds a Bachelors of Laws from University of Cape Town, a Masters of Business Administration from University of Pittsburgh, and Avesh completed the Senior Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
